Stanislaw Dovgyi was born on July 23, 1954
After graduating from school S. Dovgiy entered the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Kyiv State Taras Shevchenko (now National) University. . He started his career at the Kiev school number 6, then - at the Institute of Automation of Ministry of instrument automation and control systems of the USSR.
Later he worked at the Institute of Hydromechanics of NAS of Ukraine, where he rose from graduate to the head of the department.
Since the early days of the accident at Chernobyl S. Dovgiy has been working in workgroup NAS of Ukraine for liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl disaster.
Under the leadership of S. Dovgiy was established organizational and technical system "Inform-Chernobyl", which became the base for Chernobyl Ministry of Ukraine.
President of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (since 2000)
S. Dovgiy is the author of over 240 scientific papers, including 40 inventions, 28 monographs and textbooks.
